What is it?

Hackerspaces are community-operated physical places, where people can meet and work on their projects.

Coworking is cafe-like community/collaboration space for developers, writers and independents.

How do you do this?

Quelab is a place where you can do both/either: one space for collaborative projects and a separate space for individuals. It'll be a place where freelancers, hackers, and creative professionals can work, collaborate or just hang out. with a simple pricing structure!

See those prices here Main.Memberships

The membership fees will go towards costs(rent utilities, consumables) and investing in infrastructure for everyone to use.

Where is it?

We are now in a larger space at 680 Haines Avenue NE.

Rules?

From an email on Hackerspaces.org by From: Matthew Forr: "I think our first rule is 'Don't make us make a rule', the second is 'Be awesome.' and the third is 'if you take a beer from the fridge, put some money in the tin for it'."

  • I also add, If you use something up offer to replace it
  • If you make a mess clean it
  • If you are a part of it, its up to you to be trustworthy, and safe.
