Basically, use heat shrink to secure the leads to the coin battery. Need to bend the leads into a U to help secure them.

Not sure how to set it up so LED only comes on when you squeeze it, but he only put some leads onto the battery, not LEDs.

Still like the concept - one more step for the kid that has a new thing to do. Heat Shrink tubing is cool to watch it shrink down.

stiffer wire / smaller hole/ thicker washer could be tried be better to avoid sagging.

the only part of this I don't like is the application of heat on a lithium or alkaline cell. although if quick it should probably be fine.
