Byron Academy, which launched two weeks ago is a STEM engagement, confidence building and supplemental educator for girls and young women grades 7-12. Girls from across the country will be taking part in our online program this fall, and we wanted to invite you to participate.

We’ve partnered with Girls Who Code and Code Academy to provide industry leading demonstrations for our young women. We’ve put together an impressive roster of academic tutors to support our girl’s individual academic aspirations… or even help them build an iPhone App!

Byron Academy is currently seeking:
- Pilot Program Locations: Online, Traditional, Charter Schools (see description below)
- Volunteer Presenters for Tech Tuesday Discussions
- Partner Programs

ABOUT BYRON ACADEMY
Byron Academy’s is working to move the needle on girl’s engagement in STEM.

Our formula is simple: Expose girls to successful women in STEM. Provide academic support to cultivate confidence. Offer a venue for girls to begin building a professional network. Deliver tools to prepare for higher education.

• Invitations to Women in STEM Monthly Speaker Series (online, interactive)
• Access to Tech Tuesdays - live, web discussions on tech topics, demonstrations and speakers each Tuesday evening
• Access to Homework Help Wednesdays - live homework drop-in help center on Wednesday evenings
• Access to our library of Women In STEM profiles - inspiring stories of successful women in STEM careers
• Discount on Personal Services - private academic tutoring, test prep, college preparation services
