Greg (Quelab Member), is a big fan of rockets. (Aren't we all? Well hes a bigger fan than many!)

Hes interested in some datalogging, for engine tests, and telemetry, and all sorts of other open source type things.

I decided to open up this topic for folks to drop links, and ideas towards the building of some gadgets to help get our little hackerspace into the Spacerace!

First link:

Not designed for a rocket, but might be handy for launchpad datalogging. and a good resource for small lightweight resilient. chip/packaging options.

Project Goal: Build a small-scale rocket motor test stand to validate the Estes commercial motor performance.

I'll add a pointer to the "Shepherd Test stand" project on ODE. That's where more discussion and design work is being done.

There's a bunch of resources and links on these pages.
