If you're not familiar with Cory's work, you should be! His book Makers (and others) would surely appeal to this crowd.

He's touring for the sequel to Little Brother. Apparently hackspaces make several key appearances in the book; and the latest episode of his podcast is a reading from Homeland, but in the intro he uncharacteristically made a bit of a plea for _your_ attendence, he really wants to see the local makers on this tour

I'm not sure if suggestion box was the right place for this, but I did get the feeling that if someone from quelab wanted reach out to him (or maybe the publisher or Alamosa books) about pitching Quelab one or way the other he'd be _way_ into it.

Up at nmglug we're not exactly famous for pulling off any kind of presentations, but I'll be floating this same info on our mailing list, so if some kind of Freedom loving hacker coalition is in order don't be shy
