Well we now have 4 of these up in high traffic rooms, they are a small whiteboard/marker/eraser, for folks to note the room status/reservations. Or if you have to runoff and there is a mess you have left, please write a quick note about when you will be back to fix it.

Other than that, One guy, brought his 3d printer, (its about a week away from possibly working), one of our other 2 3d printers was also brought closer to working.

the photovore robot project hit some speed bumps, but all in all looks quite promising.

I was able to complete a repair on a power supply, for my own stuff.

Howdy.

I dropped in @ Quelab one evening a few months back when some of the local Linux folks were there. I'm a software guy and my idea of working on hardware involves plugging and unplugging things with connectors like plugs, sockets and screws (e.g. HDDs, motherboards, PCI cards, RAM, etc.). It's been years since I did any soldering.

I have a 150 watt power supply from an external 4-bay HDD enclosure (Rosewill RSV-S4-Xhttp://www.rosewill.com/products/1503/ProductDetail_Overview.htm) that seems to have failed. (It worked fine 7x24 until I turned it off for a few minutes and when I flipped the switch to turn it back on nothing happened.) :o I pulled it from the case and don't see any indication that "magic blue smoke" leaked out anywhere. :|

Is anyone interested in looking at the power supply and seeing if it's something simple to fix?

I'll gladly pay $20 to get it fixed. Anyone interested?

We are gearing up for a attempted balloon launch next saturday, so our hacknights between now and then may be a little pre-occupied, but after that on some other hacknight id be happy to try and help look at it and see if i can spot anything obvious. or give it a look over and see what the connectors are and if we can source something off the shelf to get you going.

I'm no super sleuth but ive got about 20 years of computer repair experience, and know my caps from my diodes.
