I just learned about the lab. Sounds like a great thing. I plan on visiting soon.

I am involved with the group in Abq that puts on an annual 2 day HAM fest in August. The date this year is August 3/4.

We will have several forum tracks. I would like to orgazize a track on home brew / electronics / DIY / etc. The probable forums this year would include a low cost software defined radio (transmitter on 2 meters / 80 meters) for hidden transmitter hunts and telemetry, antenna building, maybe a forum on building a simple kit, and an intro to micro controllers.

My question is would Quelab like to participate and host a 1 to 1.5 hour forum? Specific content would be up to you but suggestions include history of the lab, past projects, future projects, some sort of competition, etc. It might be a great way for you to advertise an get new members.

Hi Mike! I gotta tell you, one of the best parts about being involved with the lab is getting to hear about all the cool stuff going on in Abq. I had no idea there was an annual HAM fest in town! Awesome!

I'd definitely be interested in participating, although I would have to think about what to talk about. I would love a chance to discuss with you, please come by the lab and say hello!
