Quelab: A place to make things!
680 Haines Avenue NW
Albuquerque, NM 87102
Quelab is Albuquerque’s hackerspace. Our mission is to foster and sustain an environment that promotes creativity, invention, and collaboration at the intersections of science, culture, art and technology. If you’re unfamiliar with the hackerspace movement, we recommend these two articles by NPR: DIY ‘Hackers’ Tinker Everyday Things Into Treasure and A Space For DIY People To Do Their Business. Better yet, you can experience it yourself by joining us at one of our events! We host two events a week at minimum — Hacknights on Sundays and Tuesdays at 7pm.
Quelab is a Nonprofit organization started as a entirely self-funded and membership-driven organization, staffed by a group of passionate volunteers who strongly believe that hackerspaces can help make the world a better place. We are a fiscally sponsored project of the School Factory, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.
