Quelab is Albuquerque’s makerspace. Our mission is to foster and sustain an environment that promotes creativity, invention, and collaboration at the intersections of science, culture, art and technology. If you’re unfamiliar with the makerspace movement, we recommend these two articles by NPR: DIY ‘Hackers’ Tinker Everyday Things Into Treasure and A Space For DIY People To Do Their Business. https://library.educause.edu/resources/2013/4/7-things-you-should-know-about-makerspacesOr this one from Educause: 7 Things You Should Know About Makerspaces. Better yet, you can experience it yourself by joining us at one of our events!
It’s best to see Quelab in person — contact info@quelab.net with the times you are available and our volunteer team book your tour! There is also a video tour!
